In Response To: Re: Thermador SEC301BB/03 F34 (jeff sr)

: I don't know much about Thermador, but I found
: these...

: Faulty air switch or a damaged wire.
: F34 is an error code that appears on Thermador
: ovens when there is an issue with the upper
: oven cooling fan or the airflow for the
: upper oven. The error code can be caused by
: a faulty air switch or a damaged wire. If
: you hear the fan running, then the sail
: switch could be not working or has failed
: and needs to be replaced. A broken blower
: fan motor can also trigger the F34 error
: code. It’s important to get the problem
: fixed as soon as possible, as it can lead to
: further damage to your oven if left
: unchecked.

: Another copy: Thermador oven error codesare not
: a good sign, but in this case, your problem
: is caused by the faulty air switch. To solve
: the issue, replace the air switch. You can
: do it on your own if you have some technical
: expertise. If you don’t want to take any
: chances, you may contact a specialist to
: replace this component.

: Another cause is a faulty blower fan motor.

: Because heat and food particles must be vented
: out of the oven, it is constructed with a
: vent line. We recommend that you inspect it
: for any blockages.

: I hope something here helps.

apparently the sail switch refers to a gas version of the oven.
any idea where the "air" switch is?
