How do I connect the new capacitor I received when replacing a central air motor. The original had 3 connections (herm, c, fan), this has 2 connections with no markings? Thanks htatro

If the original had those 3 marked terminals, it was used for both the fan AND the compressor of your unit. If the replacement only has the 2 terminals, it is only designed for use with one OR the other, it can NOT be used for both as the original was.

If all 3 terminals of the original were used, you can NOT use the replacement you have as a replacement for the original. You will either have to get a second one for use with the other component or get a proper replacement that has all 3 terminals. Make certain you get one rated with all the same specifications as the original.
