Montgomery Ward Gas Range

Colleen -- Monday, 23 December 2002, at 12:51 p.m.

Is Montgomery Ward (aka Wards) still in business - where can we access information on a gas range that has no model no. on machine? We are located in Canada - any assistance would be beneficial.
Thanks

No they are not but they never made any products anyway, just resold other company's products.

It depends on what information you are looking for but in most cases you will need at least a model number to determine whom made it for Wards. You have tried looking in all the locations described in the Appliance411 'Repair Parts' section under "Model Tag Search" for the typical model number tag locations?

Thanks for the information Dan O.

I found the diagram specifically pointing out where model tag on Wards ranges should be located. Contacted our customer and presto! They had looked "everywhere", including under the lift-up gas range top (or so they claimed twice)... and third try was the charm.

Merry Christmas and thanks again. Colleen
