Magic Chef F2, F3, F4 Error

Kristen Winston -- Monday, 1 April 2002, at 12:21 p.m.

After The oven is pre-heated I am getting either an F2, F3, or an F4 error message. I haven't had it looked at but I would like to know what is wrong with it and what my options are.

F2, F3 and F4 most often all indicate a problem with the oven sensor or its wiring circuit, however, F2 can also indicate a problem with the electronic control's replay board... depending on the actual design of the particular model of range/oven in question.

I would likely keep my fingers crossed that just a defective sensor or wiring is causing all of those error codes and try replacing the sensor first.
