Jenn Air gas cook top

I am not asking you to tell me how I should do anything, but I would like to ask you how you would remove the glass top from the sheet metal box attached to its underside if you wanted to do that on a CCG2423W Jenn-Air range. Surely, telling me what you would do cannot create liability.

Many thanks.

Hi all,

Looks like... remove power, turn off gas, remove the grates, knobs, burner caps and unscrew the brass ring from the middle of the gas feed tubes to remove the top. once the "bowls" are removed you will have access the the inside workings. may not need to remove the whole top.

jeff.
