Kenmore Solid Element Range Element Polish

Pam -- Saturday, 17 February 2001, at 4:45 p.m.

I purchased a Kenmore solid element range 12 years ago. The burners are made of cast-iron. A blackener for the burners was included in the purchase called "Collo Electrol". Several years ago I was able to order it from Sears. Now I am finding it impossible to find, not only Electrol, but something equivalent.

I don't know that there is "anything equivalent" but Electrol is still available. If you can't find any locally, you can purchase it online at the link below.

Thank you very much for the information. I went to the site and have ordered the cleaner. It's the same stuff that came with my range, looks like shoe polish.

Glad to hear it helped. If the stuff is hard to come by in your area, I hope you stocked up. >8~}
