Appliance Service Tip Be Observant. Before placing a service call, make note of when the problem occurs. Note if, for example, the washer is noisy on wash or spin and mention if the appliance has been relocated recently. Have the person most familiar with the problem place the service call.
: Sears Kenmore Model #911.47466690 gives me fault
: code F7. "Clear" stops beeping, range inop, beeps
: start again in one minute.... Anyone have a solution???
In another posting, I saw that a Technical Data Sheet was taped inside the top control panel. I opened it up (two LONG screws mounted vertically in the top of oven door) and was able to access the Technical Data Sheet. It DOES have all the "F" codes listed, AND instructions for setting many variables within the oven. I was able to pull the ribbon cable, clean the contacts and it seems to have resolved my problem. CAUTION: !!!! I am a computer repairman, and if you are NOT experienced working on ribbon cables, the delicate connectors and in close proximity to "hot" wiring... I DO NOT recommend attempting this... Call a repairman or find someone who IS familiar with all of the above.

Great tip and thanks for posting the follow up! We'll keep our fingers crossed for you.
I don't have a list for that model's fault codes other than the general "F7" indicating a problem in the control keypad or control console (depending on how it is sold) which then most often requires replacing it.
If you don't mind and are willing, would you mind posting the fault codes for your range here for future reference? They just may help someone down the line.
