In another posting, I saw that a Technical Data Sheet was taped inside the top control panel. I opened it up (two LONG screws mounted vertically in the top of oven door) and was able to access the Technical Data Sheet. It DOES have all the "F" codes listed, AND instructions for setting many variables within the oven. I was able to pull the ribbon cable, clean the contacts and it seems to have resolved my problem. CAUTION: !!!! I am a computer repairman, and if you are NOT experienced working on ribbon cables, the delicate connectors and in close proximity to "hot" wiring... I DO NOT recommend attempting this... Call a repairman or find someone who IS familiar with all of the above.

Great tip and thanks for posting the follow up! We'll keep our fingers crossed for you.

I don't have a list for that model's fault codes other than the general "F7" indicating a problem in the control keypad or control console (depending on how it is sold) which then most often requires replacing it.

If you don't mind and are willing, would you mind posting the fault codes for your range here for future reference? They just may help someone down the line.

: Great tip!

I'm afraid it was short lived.

After just a couple of days the error message returned and I had to replace the whole control panel which can be seen below. I guess the ribbon connection itself was not the problem after all.

BTW. On my oven, the keypad itself is only available with the whole control panel. :(

Sorry, after I completed the repair I put them back so they can be found again when necessary. If I ever open it up again, I'll get a copy made for you and post it or a link to it from your forum.

Thanks for your time.

Sorry to hear it but at least you found the problem for sure now. Thanks again for the follow up.
