GE wall oven faulty keypad

Serge -- Saturday, 23 December 2000, at 1:53 p.m.

Any key I depress on the keypad on my oven causes a '1' to appear on the display. If I keep trying, eventually I am able to type in the temperature I want and get the oven to start. I have tried shutting it off at the circuit breaker to reset it. No luck. Any ideas?

Hi,

It is possable that the #1 on the key panal is stuck closed :-( Which means a new key panal if I am correct.
Did one last week on a GE built in oven...the #3 came up no matter which was pushed....even a few times on it's own :-(

jeff.
